Singer Problems

Anonymous asked: my confidence has been knocked so much from high school, when ever a friend tells me i can sing, i think they are lying...i hate it, im on a performing arts course,planning on university next september...but wont get though because i feel like im a crap singer ... :'(

I’ve been through that situation but then I realised that my friends wouldn’t tell me I could sing if I was crap especially my close friends and a lot of the time at high school people bring you down to make themselves feel better because they see you as a threat and are jealous. You should listen to your friends and see what your tutors think too because they know what they’re talking about if they tell you that you can sing then it’s most probably true :) I’m on a performing arts course too at the moment and applying for uni I’ve got an audition tomorrow in fact so I totally understand how scared you are but practice your audition material until you’re confident with it and if you think your voice is a weakness work on it more get your tutors to help you I’m sure they’ll be willing to oblige :) chin up Xx
